Being evaluated
This was at the District 69 Toastmasters Conference in Cairns earlier this year. I was the Test Speaker for the Evaluation Contest which gave a tremendous opportunity to develop my skills. If you ever give a presentation always ask for feedback on what people thought. Ask them specifics such as "Was I clear?" "Did you understand the purpose of my talk?" "Were my gestures strong and emphasising key points?" Your development as a speaker will be stalled if you don't get this type of feedback whenever you can.
